I can confirm they are still in their spawn locations.

I also found crampons at the summit where I’d usually find a flare pistol case.   Also no tool crate at the summit.  Playing stalker.  Since I’d already gotten the crampons from the gold mine in ash canyon, now I have two….?

My question is though, are the found crampons of any use anymore? I know they can be repared but I've traveled with my improvised crampons from BRR to the goldmine in AC and they are still 100%. There also seems to be no difference in the sure footing bonus that the improvised version provides, I hardly have any sprains and I could climb the rope in the Ravine Basin in one go while being 20% fatigued.

[EDIT]: oh I just realized the found crampons are 250g lighter, better than nothing I guess.
