Pleasant Valley Expansion

So being the curious goat I tend to look upwards and scope out areas that might be potential stomping ground.

The area above Misty Falls has been changed.  The area over the falls has mountain peaks added.

The path to Timberwolf Mountain has also been updated.  The area to the left side on the map also has been extensively updated.

The new additions had my goat horns tingling.  Exploring the new landscape and an idea started to sprout.  This new area could be part of the next chapter.

Possible expansion to Pleasant Valley.  This is pure speculation form an old billy goat.

 

The green eclipse area (should have included the cyan part) is where the new chapter takes place.  The Yellow outlines a possible new highway that connects Milton to Pleasant Valley via the long Curve near Signal Hill.  There is also another route that might connect to the possible penitentiary outlined in cyan.

This is fascinating stuff, I always assumed MT would connect to PV via the long curve but given the distance between those regions it makes sense to have a large connecting region. 

My only concern is that chapter 3 is supposed to take place in PV-only, so this new region might just be a big connector with some caves. Hopefully I'm wrong, though.

Studying the map again I realized the train tunnel in CH might also connect to PV.  This could be  a long train tunnel which might lead to a new region.

Going to hike over to that corner of PV and look for some clues.

 

 

 

There seems to be terrain added but I am  not certain.  With humble goating skills I was able to take  these pictures from  the Upper Falls.  Four sprains later I was in trouble.  No way to access the area and now the chief editor is going to be pissed at me for not getting the needed pictures.  Out of the white a goat came along and said to me "Not to fear I am your friendly neighbourhood rocky mountain goat." and then asked "What is the issue?  What is with all the sprains?"
 

Described to the goat that I needed a picture from the other side of the falls.  The goat counter offered and just wants to lick my arm in exchange.

After a short lick and with a kick he was off.

@Ice Hole, I'm certain a region will be placed there at some point due to the sheer number of possible entrances from other regions. Perseverance Mills is said to be North, how far North I dont know, It could be connected to Timberwolf Mountain or at the Long Curve in Pleasent Valley for all I know.

What I wonder is how did the goat manage to snap a photo with its hooves? I hope it didnt eat the camera strap.

Not sure as I was not there.  But my guess is goat tongue.  Seems dexterous enough for the job of clicking a button.

The strap was around the neck and I did not notice any damage to the nylon strap.  But now that  I look carefully it does look as if it was gnawed on a little. 

 

The floating land chunk is the most curious.  From a game production point of view why would it be there?  It seems like a placeholder.  So far I have found two of them in PV in the outer boundary.  Have not seen floating chunks any where else.  Wondering if it is designating a transition point or is the region going to be expanded up to and including theses chunks.  If expansion to the chunks is true then PV is going to be a massive region.
