Binoculars?

Just a thought, would be nice when looking for things like saplings or trying to determine whether youre hiking 100m down a hill for a corpse or a weird looking branch.

And have them double as a Magnifying Glass (not sure if it's even possible?). Or, when you break them down, receive 2 Mag. Glasses.

Didnt even think of that, maybe they could just be called magnifying lenses and weigh less too

Nope, but he has a point, you could break down a set of binocs to receive two lenses that can be used to concentrate the ray of light.

Not exactly how it works. It would depend on the binocs. The ones I used to have had the lenses which could be safely unscrewed, I assume this is how it usually is for other binocs as well, for when you clean them. The actual lens could be used instead of the mag glass.

As an item, I like the idea of the binocs. If they were heavy, and could be used to glass for animals from higher ground, very useful hunting tool in my opinion. But they would have to be heavy, and very rare, to make them balanced. Even cooler would be if there were "parts" around the world, spawned, and in order to get them into working order, you would need to find the parts and put them together. Something similar to locating smithing hammer, or flare rounds and distress pistol first, before they became usable.
