Sprains treatment

I remember that before, a sprain needed 4 hours rest after a analgesic treatment to completely be healed. Now these 4 hours rest time aren't needed anymore, or is this only different for the story mode ?

The rest time was a realistic feature, it's not good if the analgesic can magically treat it.

Pretty sure it has always been analgesics OR four hours rest, now two. While the rest time is realistic, it would be pretty harsh considering you cannot climb or wield weapons with a sprained wrist. If you don't have access to a bedroll you might be stuck somewhere because of a random sprain.

I'd like to know how Hinterland understanding the magic treatment of sprains with pills.

I think the chances of getting a sprain should be good with trainers and shoes. the go down with good boots and be no existent with high end boots.

I suppose the logic is that the pills dull the pain enough for you to continue on while it heals on it's own?

I don't think you can make sprains non existent... IMHO...ever try carrying 30+ kgs while going down a steep uneven, snowy, icy incline while carrying a rifle... a sprain would be getting off easy... tumbling over could result in far worse

Of course. I suggest to re-implement a 4hours rest needed with pills to cure sprains.

agreed... despite what your doctor might tell you... pills don't solve everything...
