I always play custom modes, so I've no idea of pilgrim/stalker settings tbh. I thought I'd put all populations on low with resources vanishing over time or something. Sometimes places are like a ghost town, other times there are quite a few animals about. Swings and roundabouts.

I sometimes have 3 wolves around the fishing camp. 2 on the ice and 1 patrolling from the entrance to the road and up the slope to where the cabin is in the woods. Often see 2 or 3 at Quonset and a further 3 on the ice. Seems quite random. Really intriguing.

It's been like that for me a few times, days have passed without me seeing a thing. I thought that might be because I put everything on low though. Other times I see a few animals but mostly pretty absent. By the way guys, it's snowing here! 😱😄

I've sometimes gone days without seeing animals in BI. Couple of rabbits in the frozen river sometimes towards that isolated cabin and maybe a deer occasionally. But it's very barren most of the time. Hope it picks up for you, don't lose heart 💪

Haha! Good to know. I'm just a weirdo really 😜 Yeah you'd think, but these clothes are actually pretty heavy. 6kgs in wolf gear alone. 4kgs deer trousers. 2kg boots etc. If I removed my remaining cloth items (sweaters/longjohns) I'd drop a further 9 degrees. Good thing I'm thinking ahead. Have 500ish cloth left. That includes for bedroll repairs. Haha! Yep, fancy fish suits with sparkling sequins are all the rage. I'd be as ripe as a dockyard trout. Ew.

Hm, jury's out. No more balaclava. Socks are gone. Snow pants are shredded. Wolfenfeatures ate my decent boots and gloves cos I refused to give him a manicure. Already seeing a difference outside, my fishing experience is going to be interesting. Very cold. Haven't been mauled for well over a year, by the way. Just moose stomped. Now I can't sprint far ... That may change. Yeah you PC master race folk 🙄😄 Kidding, drop the rifle clone wars 😜 Haha! Yeah, hypersensitivity puts you in touch with your feminine side ...
