  1. Konnichiwa Kinkan, warm welcome to the forum from chill England (damn -8 yesterday and -7.5 this morning). Patiently waiting for DLC to drop on console next year.
  2. Hi Joe Welcome and hope you enjoy your stay! Have a good day! Cheers B
  3. Just gonna strip off down to me undies (would go naked but that cannot be done) and walk out in to the wilderness until I cannot walk no more (or get killed by a wolf, moose or bear). Will be a sad day as they've all done me proud, bless them. But looking forward to starting a new life when TFTFT drops on console. Have a good day, afternoon, evening wherever you maybe. 👍
  4. Would have to agree there. Although for me they also have calming effects even though I now use imitation flamed candles, as sometimes I fall asleep in the arm chair. But you cannot beat a flicking flame from a real candle. Have a good day Codyh 👍
  5. OMG yes, Mr Bean, 🤣that's another classis. Rowan Atkinson is an brilliant actor. Have a good day Conan 👍
  6. Matches, in harder difficulties these are a precious resource Haven't thought of that, only on Voyager at the mo, did try Interloper after completing story missions, but that did turn out to well. Going to try Stalker sometime over the weekend. Have a good day Darkwolf and thanks for info,👍, something to remember when I'm out in the wild on Stalker Cheers B
  7. You can't go wrong with a bit of Delboy and Rodney for a laugh. Such a classic series. So many laughs, exploding sex dolls, chandelier job, and Delboy tries to teach Rodney how to flirt with women in the gay bar, there all good, but I do like the scene where Delboy and Trigger are at the Bar, and the two women look over and Delboy say "we're on a winning here trig, play it nice and cool, nice and cool", and Delboy goes to lean on the bar, but the bar flap has been raised up. I nearly died laughing🤣 South Glos, and boy was it frosty at 6am this morning. Best do some work now Have a good day Leeanda and everyone 👍 Cheers B
  8. Channel is awesome and ok I'll call u smelly socks,🤣, I mean Socks. have a good day Socks Cheers B
  9. Hi Manic Thanks for the welcome and it is certainly a wild ride and looking forward to TFTFT dropping next year on console. Cheers 👍
  10. Hi Sgt Thanks for the welcome and yes you are correct I'm a fellow brit 👍so, you're also in the older than most gamers category, you'll remember these adverts eh. Vintage UK Nostalgic & Memorable Adverts if you can't remember them, then um my apologies 😁🤣 Glad to be here 👍
  11. Hi Conan Thanks for the welcome and greeting from frosty South Gloucestershire, certainly a chilly this morning. 👍
  12. They certainly are, but no one will ever have the edge on Delboy and Rodney. Best Ever Batman and Robin 🤣 Again, thank you for the warm welcome 🙂
  13. Thanks Leeanda The warm welcome is much appreciated
  14. Hi everyone Just recently new to the forums and thought I would say hi to folks So, I enjoy a variety of games from shooters, RPG, Multiplayer to survival games etc. But I must confess The Long Dark has most definitely match my favorite gaming series and that’s Fallout, which is not similar I know, but survival is the key factor in both games. The only way I can express how good TLD is, it’s like Fallout, Green Hell but on steroids. I just love all the survival elements you have to take into consideration, especially in the early stages of the upper tier survival modes, is the weather going to change for the worse and do I have enough clothing so I don't freeze my butt off and how the hell am I going to survive a wolf attack with just the basic protection (yeh I know don’t get spotted) let along being attacked by a moose or bear. Even though I have played all the four Wintermute stories I was in for one hell of a shock when I went full Interloper mode on my first survival run and yep, I died pretty damn quick. So, this old timer though, ok I’m gonna have to think this through and learn. This is what I love about this game it’s a learning experience every single minute, hour, day and the slightest miss calculation and your food for the crows. Just need to play some appropriate background music, just to remind me not to die, like “Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive”. Damn they were a good group and still are, well those who are left. Must confess if any veteran survivalist had seen me starting on interloper straight after the story mode, they would’ve either laughed or given the old double facepalm with a triple “No” head shake and a big D’oh to top it off. I originally got the game via Xbox Game Pass, but bought it anyways, so I could help support the dev like everyone else, because it's such a fantastic game. Although there is just one downside time passes really quick: Holy Tin Cans! Batman, do you know what time it is; yes, indeed I do Robin 23:45 GMT which means bedtime, or I be falling asleep at work tomorrow. Damn I loved them old Batman series when I was a kid. "POW" "BANG" Brillant. P.s Congrats to everyone at Hinterland, because you’ve made one hell of an amazing game and hopefully, I’ll have enough experience behind me to try TFTFT on interloper when comes out on console next year. OMG I can’t wait.
  15. NPC's nah, like yourself, I prefer to struggling on my own, besides, if I am their only customer then I would expect a 99.99% discount on everything.
