I am close to level 4 on archery. Every time I shoot a wolf with the bow it runs off with my arrow and I never find the body, so that is why I stuck with rabbits. Also you get one point for each kill so rabbit kill counts the same as a bear/wolf/moose, therefore I stick with the easier, less lethal target.

Headshot: Wait until the wolf is about 60 feet then aim at the ground about 10 feet intersecting his trajectory, do not follow the wolf but his trajectory toward you , he will go straight on the last 15 feet so you have to shoot when his head cross your sight.

  2. I did a new Interloper run as you did.

It's quite brutal  (cold, wind, blizzard, fog ... you name it)  and at first, I couldn't manage to go beyond the airstrips because of condition instablility. Eventually, I was able to explore deeper and it's fantastic.

I had a bunch of close calls including being lost in the glimmer fog in the middle of the lake trying to make my way back to the main hangar's basement.

My goal is to stabilize my condition yet I have a reserve of cattails if I need to get the hell outta here and make the loooong trail back to broken railroad (although I have found some shorcuts)

Definatly a challenging but great addition !

  3. Until you are more seasoned, I would advise to move fast to a forgiving region where you can safely experiment interloper build up (like Mistery Lake: cattails, fish, carcasses, rabbits, loot, coal, connexion to Forlorn Muskeg and its forge or Mountain Town and its loot)

    Early interloper:

I - Staying alive (run Forrest, run lol)

II - Improve your clothing (rabbit & deer skins)

III - Find hammer & Hacksaw

IV - Trip to a forge

    V - Bows and Arrows

VI - Hunting and telling the wolves who's in charge now

  4. So you like Bach ? Good choice 😉

The man surely mastered tonal music

I agree on you suggestion and moreover, let us find an old shellac player in game and some shellacs here and there (I think I already suggested that but it could be a copyright nightmare although many records are in public domain now)

  5. That would be 3 Kg of coke, a large freezer (incl 2 corpses), a safe with a few papers ... nothing really compromising ... erm ... maybe pics from the maire with that hot hooty one he he ... ok and a couple account books.

Well that's all ... unless you ask what's under that locked hatch on the floor, but you won't dare would you ?

  6. In order to get the well fed bonus before getting coocking 5, I always eat one and only one cooked predator a day so every day I'm at 1% for quite a time and very scarcely get the parasite (I don't cook small pieces of meat, always 1Kg)

I've been practicing this a very lonnnnng time for manyyyy interloper games and I'm doing it actually as I gear up before getting to the new region

So, maybe my character's clones are somewhat used to it lol !

  7. Bem vindo !

Eu falo portugues como um carailho 😉

But I know quite well the north (Porto, Guimaraes, Braga) and really enjoy biking in the mountains (Gerês) of this magnificent country.

Been to Lisbon many times as well and enjoyed the natural park south of Setubal

Before forging i would also pick up birch and maple in ML so it cures before i go forging thus when i get back its done. This way you could have bow and arrows on day 10 otherwise day 12-14.

Lately (Interloper), I had the birch and mapple cured before going to the forge thinking this time I won't have such a dodgy return ha !. Crafted the tools and arrows tips, now to the work bench ... to realize I forgot the take the cured guts to make the bow 😭😭😭
