  1. That's too bad lowiaw :( I would give you my copy of version 1.21 if I could.

    edit----------

Right, I forgot to reply to the topic. I am looking forward to trying the new sprain system myself. For me, it cannot be any worse than the old one because I simply turned them off before. Hopefully it will be good enough to leave on once I do try it.

  2. I also find the number of animals you eat to be hilariously high. Eating half a dozen or more rabbits in a single day is crazy. I am looking forward to when modding becomes a better thing so we can change things to be closer to what we like......or perhaps the devs could add a % slider to animal rates and food amounts. /shrug

  3. I like the game to be hard, but also make sense. Things like not being able to sleep for more than six hours without dying of dehydration, having to eat an insane number of animals(constantly), cooking like a three year old.....and the sprains jesus. I was walking on a flat wooden path and I sprained my wrist. How is that even possible? Did a particularly strong breeze hit my tissue paper wrist or something?

Anyways that sort of stuff is really hurting the fun I have with this.

  4. I love a good challenge...going to give this a go.

    edit------------

Wow okay so I thought not being able to step over sticks was annoying before but on these settings when everything counts it's becomes incredibly frustrating. I just died because I couldn't walk over a branch. There should be a mod where instead of stepping sounds we make wheel sounds so at least it can make sense.

  5. At least being able to step over little fences and such would be pretty nice. It's so......immersion breaking and silly.....to walk up to a stick and then not be able to pass. You can climb up a cliff but a fence going up to your knee is just too much to handle?

Sprains need to be much rarer but also much more deadly.

Yes to this. Our survivor seems to just be learning how to walk or something. Constant sprains from walking around in easier terrain than what I do all the time in real life. I've never sprained my wrist or ankle, yet somehow this person does multiple times a day. I did sprain my thumb once while skiing though and I can tell you I could not grip anything. Painkillers may take away the pain but it doesn't repair the damage. It took me weeks to get better.

  7. I think my favourite thing about this game is the fact that the elements are your biggest enemy. I love freezing to death, having a sudden blizzard and getting lost, all of that sort of stuff. Also as an honourable mention the aurora is really cool. It's pretty and the first time I saw that it was turning on the power I was just thinking of how nifty it was.
