Frostbites

In game we have sprawls, the food poisoning, the dysentery, the blood loss, a risk of infection and maybe some other health conditions in addition to burns with the hypothermia.

It is odd, but there was no frostbites i ever noticed.

Am I right? What the veterans of TLD will say?

There currently is no Frostbite...

While it may be a realistic expectation, it might not fit well for gameplay -- Frostbite pretty much leaves permanent damage, so having skills permanently lowered throughout the game from frostbit damage might not fit well from a gameplay perspective [slower and shorter travel, harder coordination in the cold (e.g. for bow and rifle aiming), faster freezing rate (extreme susceptibility to the cold or hypothermia), etc.].

While burns are present in the game... 1st degree burn = 1st degree frostbite. They are pretty the same! Saying it as a doctor.

Of course, fast healing of such injuries is quite unrealistic. But it is the same for all health issues in TLD. And I rather wish to have the fast healing but keeping all these conditions.

The healing of the frostbite doesnt have to be realistic. While it may be realistic that the dmg from frostbite is permanent the frostbite in the game can be programmed to give dmg that can be healed. Forexample getting frostbite in hand will make you unable to use a weapon for 10 days or so and then it is healed up.

First-degree frostbite (frostnip) just affects the epidermis. So it takes about 3-7 days to heal depending the square and the depth. But one can use any gear and weapons having his palms lightly frostbited. And there is not always the hands suffer the frostbites. The face, ears, feet frostbites-frostnips each could be even more common depending the circumstances.
