"Burned" houses

I've seen a lot of YouTubers' say that some of the houses are burned, though these homes personally don't look burned to me (besides being darker in color). They look more like they collapsed with age or other natural causes.

Are they burned or not?

Some houses are burned down to reflect the fact that during a major EMP event, the wires inside a house as well as some appliances can over heat and/or explode

humm...

I thought the burned houses were a good reminder that a wood burning stove isn't as safe as a nice electric furnace, and that the house burned down when people neglected their stoves.

OR

Some cabins don't have stoves. Some on the lake anyways. Burned down cabin may be caused by people starting a fire indoors when no stove is present. What a way to go. Freeze to death or build a fire out of smashed up crates on your wooden floor and hope you don't light the cabin on fire accidentally.

I like to think that a lot of the things you see that are exclusive to some regions will be ported over to every region eventually, like seeing differ houses burned down on PV or have more basements available like they are in the Crumbling Highway available at the Coastal Highway
