Creepy incident at Carter Dam...

Fiddling with the safe in Carter Dam and could hear faint footsteps which I'm guessing was a wolf, I then hear some snarling and what sounds like a wolf being killed. (Best with headphones). Hopefully the video links are working, I was having some trouble posting.

I then turn and find a wolf dead in the doorway and a trail of blood leading down the steps and into the basement.

The trail of blood ends in the middle of the generator room. Found nothing else in the area.

It was creepy and I'm not really sure what happened. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Did you shoot at wolf before that happened? Or went into hand to paw fight with him?

To me it seems like he was already wounded and then came to investigate you.Then fear was triggered and he fleed( if you encounter wolf,he may come back and then are two possibilities-he attacks you again or flee).Soon after that he succumbed to wounds.That is what can be heared on your clip.

No rifle yet, I was attacked earlier in the game but it was in some random outdoor spot and not at the dam.

Then this could be probably a bug.In that case devs will give you more usefull info.

Perhaps it was the vengeful spirit of the Dam's Foreman.... just kidding.

Could be an interesting thing where Fluffy doesn't survive the fall through the window.

I never thought I'd see a creepypasta begin with The Long Dark, heh. Maybe there will be an update where there exists other survivalists like yourself that can steal stuff from you and you might hear now and then creeping about. Maybe one of those cupboards you found some loot in was theirs...
