Can you go to Will's crashed plane in Survival Mode? What is that location called?

I think it's just called crashed plane,and yes you can get to it in survival mode..

Same we you get out to mountain town in story mode.

Yes, the Region is called "Mountain Town" and I don't believe the location has a name per se (not like "Discovered: Mystery Lake" e.g.), but if you map near it, it will show a "Crashed Plane" icon.
