Getting stuck in the plane at Timberwolf Summit

I was playing a quick game the other day with the goal of getting to the Summit on Interloper. I couldn't find a hacksaw in the plane, so I dropped down through the broken end to check the backpack that is there, but then I couldn't get up again!

I'm sure I've got back up to the containers after dropping down there, but I couldn't make it work this time. Is it possible? Or did I dream it?

Yes, you can goat back up from the underbelly of the plane.
If I can find a good screenshot, I will add it later.

In brief... you can goat back up on from the righthand side (if you are facing out).

Thanks, @ManicManiac Is the way back different from the way in?

Am I climbing out onto the rocks, or trying to climb the metal of the fuselage?

Just to the right (at least the last time I was up that way) you can leave the fuselage and goat up the rocks back to the summit.
