Was the location of mysterious signal fire changed?

So, I don't know if this is my crappy memory, confusing surroundings or what but something feels not right

HRV is my least visited area, because, you know, It's kinda boring, the ice caves are tedious and I always get lost in them going in circles and wasting paint trying to mark my way. The only exciting thing about is the mysterious fire. I don't know the map by heart because I always get too excited to see smoke so I sprint like crazy passing everything by, hitting loot spots and not paying too much attention to my surroundings. Even though I've been through there a few times I still hope to find someone standing by the fire. I just have to be faster this time, to get there before they leave 😅 Alas...

This time wasn't very different. I arrived through Milton, went straight ahead to the cliff, and saw smoke straight ahead of me on the other side of the valley

"hmmm, I remember it being more to the right...nah, nevermind"

I took a similar route, to the right, up the rope, left, bushes that block the way, a cave, and just when I thought I'm about to see the signal fire the clearing turned out to be empty 

Please, put my mind at ease, I was so sure this is  where the fire used to be

There are two possible spawns for the signal fire one to the right nearer to the entrance and one in the back mountains, for me it’s been the opposite I’ve gone in every run since the update came out at least two dozen runs and this current run is the first time I’ve ever had it spawn at the right side spawn 😊

I had noooo idea there are different spawns! Every run I had it spawned on the right!
