Reishi mushrooms?

So… I may have found Reishi mushrooms. 

Found: On a tree stump in sparse pine forest, southeast US

Texture: Leathery and rigid throughout

Color: Dull red to orange on the cap; stem is very dark purple or brown; underside of cap is white.

Smell: Smells like mushrooms you’d find in a grocery store.

Naah its close but not that one. I've seen mushrooms like reishi with the distinct orange-reddish colour in the woods where i live in North Poland. The mushroom season will start in about two weeks and i will be going to forest many, many times. I will post a Pic of what i mean soon. Good find tho

Supposedly Reishi mushrooms don’t have any poisonous lookalikes…

Enjoy! The stories my dad tells about Polish mushrooms are enough to make me hungry even without seeing them .
