Forsaken Airfield Stuck - Cannot proceed without dying

I found a solution!
Go to the right side of the tree with the cliff behind you.
Go as far forward as you can. 
Side step to the right while holding W. 
When you reach the rock you will be able to climb the slope.

Had the same issue yesterday. I fell from the log exiting the climb wall yesterday and couldnt get back up. Tried almost everything. Had to load the game and take the shortcut again.  Hopefully it is not far from Airfield Hangar.

Oh, I just loaded my previous save, but I'd hate to see others get injured (save) then stuck there (unless they can do what @PepperLox displayed).
