I_eat_only_wolf_meat
Those of you looking for a really difficult zombie survival game that can run on low end equipment have found the answer to your wishes. Project Zomboid is super hard, has a steep learning curve, a huge array of skills, and extensive customization of your appearance, clothing, and base (attn: @piddy3825). It's been in "early access" for what must be going on ten years now, and it's been accumulating polish all that time. There are even mods now. Not very expensive, as it's old. It's on Steam. piddy3825
are you talking about the game that came out in 2014 or is this a newer version? cause it's in my library.... I got about 2 hours of play time in and haven't touched it in years...

It's the same game. I got it earlier than that back when it was a tech demo. Just much more refined now, with good multiplayer, new animations, unbelievable crafting system, and a system of cars and trucks that allows for repairs and replacement parts. I'm not sure how much room there is to customize them. It's worth a look just to see how far it's progressed in 11 years.
odizzido
It's still being developed. They're planning on adding NPCs and other significant things so if you want to wait for the game to come out of early access you may have a better experience.
