Elusive Fish

In the group of boats near DP Lighthouse.  Anyone able to get it?

I remember finding all kinds of fish laying about in DP back in the day.  Used to be a fish or two in the belly of the Riken and you'd almost always find one in the rowboats like the one in your picture.  There even would be some fish every once in a while up on the thin ice to lure you out there, but not so much anymore.

I don't remember ever seeing a fish in rowboat like that.  Are you just not able to reach it?  Tried getting real close and crouching?

I do remember getting a fish there a few saves ago, I either couldn't pick it up or it wasnt edible.

More than likely I couldn't pick it up,same as anything  on the car floors.

I've picked up that fish a couple times and it's a valuable source of food.  The few times it's spawned there, it's been a big old salmon.  As @piddy3825 says, I think I had to crouch to get it.

In my most recent interloper run, it wasn't there.  Possibly because I got to DP too late.

I crouched, crawled and begged and I couldn't reach the thing!  I felt like some kind of experiment to see how long I'd try
