Instant REVOLVER bear kill!?!

Climbing Timberwolf mountain almost to the summit I encountered a bear and was up on a rock high above him and I drew him close with a stone the I aimed (w skill lvl 4) and killed him with one shot maybe it was aim assist?

It's definitely possible, but I wouldn't recommend it as a regular tactic! I've only just recovered from my accidental one shot kill a couple of years ago...
