Back to TLD. Goal to reach Ash Canyon on Voyageur

I decided to start on Voyageur, as I understand Ash Canyon is difficult. I have two obstacles to overcome as I haven't been to TWM.

Started in mountain town ended up in quonset but. I got hit twice by the moose so I won't be going for several days. I never got that moose but nearly got mauled by a bear but was able to protect myself with the revolver. I found the bear dead on the ice the next day so things are looking up. I have the resources to hole up in quonset for some time.

Ive already been to PV and have some caches established there, so now it's just a matter of preparation and waiting out the injury.

All and all a great start and TLD still remains as great an experience as ever.

I'd recommend getting the best clothing you can (among other things you'll need).  Take your time and prepare well.
