Can't play on Xbox One, Can't look around!?!

Hi all, I'm new here but have been playing on Xbox one for a few years now.

I hadn't played the game in awhile but loaded it up yesterday and allowed it to take the latest update. I created a new sandbox game and found that the second joystick on which controls the look around wasn't working except for the crouch. I tried with my second controller,  same thing. I created a new sandbox,  same thing. I uninstalled and reinstalled,  same thing. Tried loading a new game of winter mute, same thing. The only thing I haven't tried is my third controller. 

 

Please tell me this game isn't dead to me. It's the only game I own that I enjoy enough to go back to time and time again.

I've updated The Long Dark today on my xbox one, and i can assure you that the controls are working perfectly.
