Some questions about time capsule.

So I play on pc - microsoft store, and i was just wondering if I buy the time capsule on steam can I play it still? Is it even still a thing?

I haven't tried recently but I do believe it is all still there on the Steam servers just waiting to be downloaded.  All you need is an access key.

As far as I know, it's a Steam feature (meaning you'd need to have access to the game on Steam).  The capsule itself is not something you buy...

I'm not sure if the Microsoft Store has any access to Steam in that way (I would tend to doubt it, but I don't know).  According to the link on this website, "NOTE: Time Capsule only works on STEAM. It's the only platform that currently offers us the tools we need to provide this playable archive."  This is also mentioned in the first thread we see at the top of this subforum titled: About Time Capsule.

Also... if you care about badges, feats, and progress towards unlocking feats; you may want to reconsider.  I've heard about folks losing those when they used the time capsule to rollback to a previous version.

I recommend using the search function, because there has been a lot of good discussion about this in the past.
I don't know if there is a solution for it, or if it's just what can happens when jumping between builds.
