I assume you mean the platform area around the bullet crafting bench? I've not fallen off, but I've also hardly spent any time there.

The only board "walk" that I recall in Bleak Inlet would be along that long path to the cannery pier which might be two spots - the destroyed building that you would walk through, on the ground, and have to jump from various boards (which makes no practical sense, but this is a game) and the boards on the top of the trailers closer to the cannery pier that you walk across. 

I play in Pilgrim so I would be in no danger if I did fall to the snow, but haven't... yet.  😉

Boardwalk = Trailers, boards, platforms, etc. you need to take to reach the workshop.
