Ice Hole
To improve the immersion let the wolves have better eyesight. Already the stones give us an option to distract these beast. How, on a frozen lake, can you hide from a wolf? Even if we were to lay prone that wolf would still notice a change in the scenery. Are we jedi? This is not the meat popsicle you are looking for. In order to hide from a wolf or any thing else the need for cover should be mandatory. Here is some cartoon context. Oh Magoo! ManicManiac
I'm fine with it as is... mainly because the timber wolves will escape Bleak Inlet soon, and when that happens we will already have plenty to deal with. Besides I kind of enjoy that, as long as we keep a respectful distance, we (and the other animals as well) can co-exist. If we widen the wolves' detection radius, that will likely mean that we'll also have less deer and rabbits to hunt (in addition to more wolf harassment). I do like the sentiment, but I think this particular thing might skew the game's current "ecology."
