corpse dragging?

you ever hunt a deer or a wolf but dont have enough time to harvest it and you know you wont be able to return before it despawns?

well worry no more with corpse dragging you can use mountaineering rope to pull an animal's corpse back to your home with you!

this is quite a far fetched idea but this could also be a thing if they add sleds

Not really in favor of it.  Managing the time one has to spend out in the weather, as well as your fatigue, hunger and thirst is a major part of the strategy of this game.  Having to harvest animals wherever they fall is one of the main challenges the player has in this entire game.  Being able to just move entire animal corpses into your base to harvest would, IMO, break the game entirely.

I'd rather have the ability to carry wolf and deer carcasses, but while doing so you walk at a snail's pace and can't use any tools or go through any transitional zones (like houses, where the character would do something like say: "I'd better drop this"). As well, you get a full scent bar while carrying the carcass.
