Be able to place all items

So, currently, you can place lanterns that are equipped using right click-left click combo.

It seems a shame to have all the cubby-hole type storage shelves, and have to dump stuff all over the floor of the cabin.

It would be awesome to to include "Place" as an option in the inventory system, so you can place items from your inventory in specific locations. I would feel a lot better about having a base and playing for a lot longer if I could do that.

I agree. I keep a fair amount of my crap out of containers even though it degrades faster... mostly about 20L of spare water but also some spare tools and stuff. I wish we could put stuff on the counters and tables instead of on the floor right in front of them.

+1 for this. Eventually I would hope items placed in interiors would degrade at the same rate as items stored in containers.

+1 I try to aim for empty milk crates all the time but the items never make it in.

+1 I use to leave the tool boxes and jerry cans on the floor too, along with the rifles and leather, and the place ends up looking as a mess.
