A way to remove the burnt out campfires

It's probably just me, but I don't like the sight of all those burnt out campfires. I would like a way to clean them up

I would imagine that successive snow flurries would slowly bury it.

Also I would like to see charcoal as a drop from campfires. It can be used as a writing utensil or as a fuel.

Hey, that's right, a snowstorm would cover it and strong winds would blow it apart.

Well that would be why charcoal would be an interesting addition. you could write out messages as markers on certain objects, "North path, wolves ahead" or " Thin Ice, watch out!"
