Secret stash

Just a quick question for you guys. Are the secret stash containers in HRV random or are they all there and I’m just not looking in the right spot?

The OP is asking about Hushed River Valley (HRV) not Pleasant Valley.

I just finished mapping HRV for my Faithful Cartographer achievement.  I found a number of the caches at the locations shown on the map in the Wiki, but certainly not all of them.   My thoughts are that only so many spawn (didn't keep count of how many I found, sorry) and that the locations shown on the Wiki map are just possible locations where they may spawn.  I think the camps marked on the map are also only possible spawn points, since it was similar... I found some in their marked locations and others simply were not there.
