REdux QOL Improvments

The view out of the mine shaft shows scenery and weather as well.

Used to be kinda blank looking.

 

The lantern can now be moved using the right mouse button.

This bothered me because it used to be opposite the way to place all other objects.

 

The rabbits stand still and perk their ears and sometimes twist their ears around as well as look.

Get them so very close but cannot grab.  Too bad.

 

Microwave oven that has the flip down door is actually a toaster oven.  The four rods inside it look to me like heating elements. 

List any notable changes you have noticed in the quality of life within the Long Dark.

I think the firelighting process is a bit faster now, thank the Lord.

The new quicklook UI ( Tab) doesn't blend into the background snow anymore, so you can actually read it without having to look up at the sky. And the readings are clearer. It's just generally much better.

Fire lighting faster you might not know that best part.  Just found out today that to light a fire a lit torch will be priority before match.

 

Here is matches in the inventory.

 

Here I have a lit torch in hand about to light a fire.

The torch is first in the selection for ignition source.  Well alright ! A perfect ten

Here I show off my cave crop grow system.

The torches lumen outout is additive.  

Wonder what that could be used for maybe making a bright light in a house by the sea.
