Export journal?

Anyone know if it's possible to save a journal to a text file or find it in the game files somewhere? I have made a ton of useful notes in my current run and I'd hate to lose it if I die.

Not sure, but copy and pasting to a somekind of notepad surely helps.

The journals are automatically saved on death. However, I do not know where and in what format.
