G'day @Tiger, and welcome to the forums!

To answer your question, no, it's not possible. Its only purpose is to set up a conversation you'll have when you get back to Trapper's.

This is the Mainlander Insurance Company. We are now paying out on "End of the World/Apocalypse" insurance so tell Gray Mother she can collect on her policy. We are also offering a post-Apocalypse animal-attack and frostbite policy at a bargain rate.
