STEAM: Patch 4 is Now Live

Patch 4 for The Long Dark -- This patch updates the game version to version 1.05 (32319)

WARNING: There may be Story spoilers in these notes.

* Fixed blocking issue where the Aurora would not appear in Episode Two, between completing the Bear Hunt mission and awaiting the aurora's return to get through the Dam. This fix is compatible with current in-progress games so you should not have to restart to benefit from it.

thanks for the update, ive hopped on today, already had 4 nights without aurora? am i just being impatient?

I found that it popped when I did not sleep in the dam itself, but outside at the adjacent trailer.

Only a little bit impatient.. We've had other reports that it takes around 5 days..

The aurora appear only when u leave the trailer after sleep. The problem is when you dont pass the dam in time during the aurora and the aurora doesn't appear anymore. 10 days without aurora, a loss of time.
