WHETSTONE! My knife died very early in my game because I couldn't repair it and now my hatchet is going to die soon as well. What on earth can we do about that if there are no whetstones available...and I've looked high and low for one?

I know there could be at least one somewhere because someone said they lost one already in one of the two disappearing items threads...

Pretty sure you can't repair the metal shard you start out with.  You can get a whetstone...

Awesome, well is there a hunting knife anywhere?  Or did they forget to add that to the Story?

Well I wonder how some people get so far in the game with still great condition on that metal shard then? Mine went like nobody's business, lol.
