Wind protection

The wind blows in front of the character in his face. But the icon indicate he is protected from it. That seems unprecise.

From the picture, my guess is that you are standing just inside the doorway. (I can see the doorframe on both sides of the picture)

I imagine that to keep things simple, the game therefore regards you as "indoors", and thus protected from the wind. Try taking a step forward, "outside", and see if you're still shielded from the wind.

The wind breaks on the railing in front of you, and because the indoors have "warmer" temperature than the outside, this hot air is trying to escape out and is pushing out the cold wind. The cold wind blows alongside the walls instead of inside. If you wanted some explanation that makes sort of sense.

But I am sure it's how JAFO said it - the game registers you as being "indoors". If you stood there for long enough, you would probably develop Cabin fever.
