Collectors edition ?

So I found this short conversation on Raph's Twitter. I'm pretty sure they are talking about TLD so I am curious about this little bit of information....

This "official" forum is always the last to hear everything.. Twitter, Reddit and even the Steam forums seem to always be where the really juicy bits are first revealed.

Sadly for me, I avoid those 3 sources like the plague.

There will be a collectors edition, the question is will they make it available for future purchases?

As far as I know there will be a physical collectors edition for Kickstarter backers, but it is a limited amount for the backers who donated $250 or more (correct me if I'm wrong).

I would love to buy a collectors edition!

I bought "The Long Dark - Director's Cut" from Humble Bundle's store and it should contain a physical copy of the game for PC, but it's been 2 years already and I haven't heard anything from them since Feb / 2015, so not sure when they're gonna be delivered it.

... but I've made a good use of Steam version of TLD while waiting for that Director's Cut
