Sorry if this has been covered a long time ago and/or somewhere else, but does rapidly clicking the mouse button during a wolf encounter positively impact the struggle or is it more of a placebo?

I heard about somebody on forum that if you had pry bar you could click less but the wolf can come back and attack again !!

Yes, it will definitely affect the outcome--it's not a placebo. The better defensive tool/weapon you have on-hand, the quicker you can resolve the wolf struggle. And hopefully to your benefit!

It's even better if you start clicking before the wolf reaches you.
