Reduce the spawn rate of rifle cleaning kits

How? If your rifle never drops below 50%, how is it sabotaging yourself?

The rifle will drop below 50% if I didn't use the cleaning kits.

So why are you complaining? Just stockpile them. They'll become useful in the late game

Because it should be hard to find rifle cleaning kits.

All of the Stalker loot can be reduce at 5 times - it's too easy to find something at all.

You can find that on the interloper difficulty.

You'll run out of bullets before you make the rifle unusable. Perhaps distribute them more widely, but I am happy with their current frequency.

Or, make the kits rarer, but make them actually functional as cleaning kits and have them repair the rifle to 100%.

Same thing with sharpening stones.

How often do you find the cleaning kits. I can find about 6 in 1 hour of gameplay.

I've found 5 in my current 52 day run. Seriously, it's not an issue. Ammunition is the major limiting factor, much more so than rifle condition. One of those cleaning kits I have ruined because I repaired a 16% rifle that I found to 100%. Still haven't fired a shot, though.
