The Wild Eight

The Wild Eight is a survival game. You crashed with a plane in the canadian wilderness and now you have to survive in a strong winter. Sounds like TLD and has a quite similar graphic style. But even though, the gameplay is quite different. You play in a 3D top-down perspective and you have a crafting and building system that expands with skills you can learn in the "shelter".

The game is in pre-alpha, passed through Steam Greenlight and raised money on Kickstarter. A demo is available on their Greenlight site. I think at the moment the gameplay is too fast and there are some bug, but I see great potential.

Interesting it's like a rip off / earlier version of the TLD but in outer perspective mode.
