Nice animated gif @RossBondReturns!
Thanks! There's a delicate balance between remembering to take screenshots and clicking your finger off.
At the end of this fight I had dropped to 25 percent...and wore out my boots/a cotton toque/100% wool gloves.

Best of luck @RossBondReturns!
Thank you! Since this is my current run and I will eventually be uploading it...(my God that will be a lot of Episodes!) I can say that this is the run where I have "cracked the glass ceiling" as it were. I'm highly satisfied! I suppose I should upload the rest of the previous survivalists too beforehand so it could really take a long time, since I need to finish editing the last few episodes of Reg.
Also I'll also find out who can stand LONG LP's without commentary. Oh well.

Or we could find Solar Showers...like those you can use when camping.

I have always used the random map start...and that hasn't changed since Forlorn Muskeg.
I have yet to start there...but I absolutely LOVE Forlorn Muskeg!
The three times I've entered the map to explore I never left it alive...but it as a BEAUTIFUL wasteland and a true challenge!
The Long Dark just keeps getting better and better...now if only my Rifle wouldn't fall through the ice/snow every once in a while.

Nope, unless I'm very mistaken @RossBondReturns and I are using a slightly different route
Hidden Content
I had serious issues with my speedy descent, because the weather was crap and I was going to run out of time...I tried in the middle of the night to use no ropes to go down...but died before making it to the bottom.
In my current attempt I am almost done with my inbound to the Timberwolf Region. We'll see. I have yet to make it past the descent.
Holy moly...made it down...tracked through PV in a blizzard...and somehow found the transition mine to Coastal Highway...it's gonna be CLOSE!

This is my current time sink.
I have yet to have Fluffy spawn at all thank God...but eventually once I post the whole thing once I complete it one of these days you'll see I've been attacked by wolves and got slaughtered by the bear earlier today.
That was actually a wolf...then bear combo...brutal that.
I know my route now...very well...it's just a matter of bad luck that I'm probably not going to finish it in my current run.
It really encourages me to start again...my fiancee is saying..."Well that looks familiar" a lot.

Some times in the clear of the night...I can't help but remember that "The heavens declare the glory of God".
This is part of the reason I will keep on playing TLD because every aspect is created carefully, and I feel as if I'm able to be a witness to the declaration with each footstep taken in the wilderness.

Also the location of my first mauling!
Pro Tip: Bears dislike being shot
Indeed. My first shot was in the ass...and it ran off leaving a blood trail. So I followed the trail...and caught up enough that he turned around so shot him in around the head it looks. Then it turned and charged so I reloaded and aimed and fired and hit the ground between his front paws and that was it really. I tried to crawl towards the farmstead...and even with the bandage kept bleeding out...forgot my emergency stim and died.
