Do I need to purchase this again?

I personally own this game on Xbone but wanted to start uploading vids to YouTube, and the options and tools on the system are.. Well lets say interesting. So I've been thinking about just downloading the game on my pc. Now here's the question. Does anyone know if I have to purchase the game again or is it buy it here get it there as well?

Might be a completely dumb question and I believe I already know the answer.

Hey there - Because Microsoft and Valve are separate retailers, we do not have a way to link the purchases between platforms. If you want to play it on Steam as well, you'll have to purchase it again.

now I just need to talk my wife into letting buy this again lmao.. That's nowhere near as much fun as playing this game is.
