removing blood indoors

so long story short, i was mauled by a wolf, stumbled into my permanent house to bandage, and i bled all over my floor. is there a way to clean up the blood indoors, or is it just a permanent paintjob from now on?

its been roughly 5 or 6 days ingame since that happened. figured it'd go away on its own, but, it isnt

Same thing happened to me in the Mystery Lake zone. I was in the Carter Dam in the front room by the door. I got attacked by Fluffy. I survived, but days later the blood is still on the floor. In reality, if it wasn't cleaned up I guess it should remain there for some time, so I'm not sure it is a bug. Maybe it will finally go away after MANY days?
