megamillionare
i think we should be able to harvest containers as well for extra materials like scrap iron or wood or something since we can already harvest decorations and stuff also when/ if they add harvesting to the random paintings you should get cured hide from the canvas or something. megamillionare
ok I see this has been added now but still the random paintings should be harvestable for cured leather or a hide of some sort
Gaboris
Yeah that's true. A lot of items were added to the "harvestable" pile, but I also thought that pictures, charts and boards hung on the walls should also be harvestable, but I'm not sure if paintings are ACTUALLY made on leather or at least the ones normal people buy for their homes.Maybe reclaimed wood and some tinder per painting, but I'd say we'd have to figure out how to balance them properly. vancopower
Yes i like this, also there should be option to craft containers like chests when you place them you can not pick them up again you should destroy them. Also paintings hmm cloth is more likely than leather.
megamillionare
well that works too why not cloth and reclaimed wood it is
druffzilla
Usually paintings are from canvas which gets primed and then painted on with oil based colors...If a painting gets older it dries out a lot and after a few years paintings are very fragile, so fragile that pushing your finger into it while its stretched on a frame can cause it to rip, this is definitely not the material you want to make clothes from.Harvesting it for some reclaimed wood and a tinder plug would make sense though.
