Dave's Quiet Clearing

I've been to and from this location many times down the only path and never got a name prompt. Most maps simply have it's location of being a cave south of the Camp Office down a dead end trail and there is no name. However when I went up the mountain from another point next to the shoreline of Mystery Lake and meandered around up there, when I descended right above this cave and got this name prompt right next to it:

Is this the name of the clearing/cave ( not really a cave but an open rock shelf ) that is just off a bit? I've noticed some game prompted names appear in off locations but most all are spot on. Speaking of which, the Mystery Lake level map has a location listed in the far north-west corner between two possible prepper's bunker locations but I've never gotten the game to display the words "Look Out" like they show on the map. I believe I've been up and down that area for this to happen so did I miss it or is the map wrong?

I have been on that slope and got the "Look Out" display. Ironically, the main thing you can see through the trees is the Forestry Tower.

Is it all the way at the top against the wall? Is it on a ledge sticking out? I've been back and forth all around there but could not get the trigger. Can you post a screenshot so I can get a feel for what it looks like and the elevation looking at the Forestry Lookout. Thanks.

Here's one of mine showing myself in that general area. To the left of the center of the screenshot through the trees far below, you can see the Logging Camp. All the way to the right on a mountain top on the horizon, you can see the Forestry Lookout.

Go to the end of the Clear Cut area furthest from the Logging Camp and bear right. Head between a rocky formation and a smooth snowy ridge with a rounded shape.

This is the rocky formation, facing uphill. Lookout is to the left.

Yeah Dave's Quiet Clearing started showing up like two or three major updates ago, sometimes it triggers when your closer to the cave sometimes, sometimes closer to the path...

The "Look Out" has always been a curiosity I know two of the possible bunkers spawns around there. Its just like the "Silent Clearing" up at the Coastal Highway.

I noticed this too, and asked about it a couple months ago but never got a reply from anyone. I assume that the "trigger" area for getting the name prompt is just smaller than it maybe should be.

Yes, some of the triggers can be quite small and not where you would expect. A great example is what happens when you ascend to the top of the small tree island in the center of Mystery Lake.
