Does 4DON affect a current survival run?

Yesterday after installing the 4DON patch I continued my survival run and was confused because the forge at FM was gone. First I thought this was a bug, but then I realised that this could be an impact of the event. But I am not sure.

Does this mean I can’t play survival without the 4DON challenge?  Do I have to wait until the event is over? I have never participated in the 4DON event, so I am not familiar with it at all.

I am a pilgrim at day 263 and I don¹t want to lose my save after a suprise cuddeling with the wolfs in the dark.

No 4don does not effect survival saves at all, the entire region of FM is completely blocked off in 4don
