ArrayKnight
I'm currently carrying 82.85 lbs which is well past capacity. I'm trying to find out if there is an upper limit and what happens when I hit it.I tried to run (left shift) and it is actually slower than walking. Seems like it should just be disabled. ArrayKnight
Made it up to 110 lbs. There doesn't appear to be any difference between 66.01 lbs and 110 lbs.
Guest Alan Lawrance
You will get to the point where you cannot move at all.Running while encumbered is disabled, but it shouldn't be slower than walking. Will investigate that.
Guest Alan Lawrance
If you hit 112 pounds (while exhausted), you should not be able to move.
Hinterland Raphael van Lierop Posted June 23, 2014 Hinterland Share Posted June 23, 2014 There is a threshold that triggers the Encumbered label. Somewhere beyond this, you will no longer be able to run.Somewhere beyond this, you will no longer be able to walk. These are thresholds and not linear, so it's not like you will get gradually slower, etc. You will just suddenly hit a threshold and the penalty will kick in. These thresholds are also getting tuned fairly regularly.(For now, moving to By Design thread since this isn't actually a bug.)
