Crazy invisible mechanics repainting cars overnight

So I think this car was blue once, and one day it was suddenly red. How? Why? I wasn't sure tho, so I took a screenshot:

is that GREEN? Am I colourblind? Are the cars mutating? Is this an effect of the geomagnetic disaster? Am I losing my mind? I agree with RedBuffalo1427 who posted this on reddit... send help!

How to reproduce: not sure, I have no proof of the other cars changing, but I'm pretty sure they did, many times. Or I'm crazy. Try taking screenshots, then checking the same car again after a couple of (in game) days. Or going crazy. Both could work.

This might well be related to #466 v.183 Engine Hoods are popping down - it seems that for cars the item state doesn't get persisted across scenes.
