Another wanderer staggers in from the long dark; finds he is not without company...

Greetings from so-cal. I just finished my first game of about 13 days. Got savaged by a wolf pack. Hooked. Can't wait for future patches.

Survival mechanics have interested me for quite a while. Started with Minecraft, then Don't Starve. But the most interesting to me was a heavily modded version of Skyrim with frostfall and realistic needs and diseases.

But this game looks like it's going to be a true-blue survival sim. Much anticipation, indeed.
