Pacifist Achievement

Does anyone know if the Pacifist Achievement is ruined by setting snares or fishing? I was thinking of trying to get some of the achievements and wondered if anyone knew.

no killings caused by you. You can harvest carcasses caused by wolves only.

I missed my achievement by fishing.

I wonder, can i get the achievement if i stop killing for 25 days or do i have to start a new game for that? same for silent hunter?

Apparently it has been reported by other players (i've seen 2) on here and on the steam discussions, that you gotta have a clean run from start to the 25th day. Same for Silent Hunter, well, for that at least at the 25th day you can engage knife combat with wolves, use snares or fish, it's easier than pacifist for sure (on voyageur).
