Outside light coming in from 2 directions

In the house on Jack Rabbit Island, the light is coming in from 2 different directions through the windows in the kitchen and bedroom. I highlighted the lighting directions in the screenshot below.

Could just be that the general light level outdoors is higher than indoors. I find this happens in real life when it's light outside, but overcast.

What was the outdoor weather like? if it was clear and sunny, then I can understand your complaint. Overcast provides a more diffuse illumination that comes from all areas of the sky
