allow to scroll map with WSAD keys

cooked meat should lose weight

meat weight should affect cooking time

allow navigation with AD  keys in "apply medicine" menu, fire menu, sleep menu, "pass time" menu

add 'transfer all' button to opened container menu

show wind direction in quick stats

knife condition should affect time it takes to harvest meat, skin, guts from dead animal

Should be able to cook coffee and tea with unsafe water

Scaring a wolf away by throwing stones is too easy when it's eating a carcass. But it's impossible to do when it's following you. It should be the other way around.

when taking clothes from container show if they are wet or frozen

Add black outline to quick stats , so you can see them when nothing but snow is in background.

When playing survival maps I had idea of marking my trail by dropping items to not get lost. But it did not work because dropped items always have the same angle.

It's frustrating that you can't grab running rabbit with bare hands.

During wolf struggle every piece of outer clothing gets damaged. It should be more random.

In wintermute when you hunt the old bear, containers with bullets magically appear near him. It would make more sense if Jeremiah gave you bullets if you run out of them.

Map  exit marker on the map should tell you what region it leads to.

strafing speed should be slower than walking forward

putting on clothes should take time.

leave searched and empty containers open so you know you checked them

allow harvesting clothes with knife to save time

chance of starting fire in fire barrel should be higher than campfire

There should be a way to get rid of dead bodies and carcasses (  bury them in snow?) , so you don't waste time looking for a dead body more than once when you hear birds.

anything breakable with hatchet should be breakable with hacksaw

you should be able to harvest bow

Toolboxes are very rarely used. There is no need to have 2 different kinds of them.

Mark cars on map. They are great loot source.

WSAD and ENTER keys should work in 'select tool for crafting' menu

ENTER key should work in breakdown menu

Wow thats a metric crapton of suggestions. Let me give you my lists of the numerous (imo) good, questionable and bad/pointless/unspecified ones:

Good Suggestions :

  • allow navigation with AD  keys in "apply medicine" menu, fire menu, sleep menu, "pass time" menu
  • allow to scroll map with WSAD keys
  • meat weight should affect cooking time - But with a minimum of at least 50% of the base cooking time
  • knife condition should affect time it takes to harvest meat, skin, guts from dead animal
  • Should be able to cook coffee and tea with unsafe water - You never filter it anyways so yeah sure
  • Scaring a wolf away by throwing stones is too easy when it's eating a carcass. But it's impossible to do when it's following you. It should be the other way around
  • when taking clothes from container show if they are wet or frozen
  • Add black outline to quick stats , so you can see them when nothing but snow is in background

Questionable Suggestions:

  • cooked meat should lose weight - Kinda right but lets be honest. The Long Dark is no simulator thus some freedom in applying game mechanics should be granted. Those few gramms that you gain wont make much difference
  • Add 'transfer all' button to opened container menu - Only for containers that can actually bear the load of the transfered inventory
  • When playing survival maps I had idea of marking my trail by dropping items to not get lost. But it did not work because dropped items always have the same angle. - You can change the angle by rightclicking on the item and then turn around until it has the right angle.Pointless on the one hand because it really doesn´t matter in the majority of times. On the other hand giving dropped items the angle of the character is no effort at all.
  • It's frustrating that you can't grab running rabbit with bare hands. - Actually it is quite hard to grab a bunnie with bare hands because they aren´t really suited for grabbing prey animals because of the lack of claws. It is easy enough to stun them with a stone.
  • leave searched and empty containers open so you know you checked them - Why would that be necessary? You are likely not going to see the majority of looted container´s ever again and Hinterland is generous already by taking away the pain of remembering what is searched and what not with those exact two labels.
  • chance of starting fire in fire barrel should be higher than campfire - By what margin? It doesnt really matter to me though because fire barrels and furnaces already offer a significant bonus over campfires which is wind immunity. I don´t see a need for that.
  • There should be a way to get rid of dead bodies and carcasses (  bury them in snow?) , so you don't waste time looking for a dead body more than once when you hear birds. - Why would you ever want to do that? Bodies offer a free source of crow feathers (carcasses too) and 10kg storage space. It is always worth checking them out occasionally. Also, in the rare case you have no working rifle or ammunition (interloper/guns disabled) and feathers to make arrows, bodies are the only persistent source for feathers afaik (very borderline-ish but worth mentioning).
  • anything breakable with hatchet should be breakable with hacksaw - Almost anything important (saplings and carcasses) is already. The few things that aren´t shouldnt bother you too much.
  • you should be able to harvest bow - Only if you would get no cured maple sapling and no cured guts. Making a bow recyclable would totally break this weapon (bow implies guts implies more available strings and so forth...).

Bad/pointless/incomprehensive Suggestions:

  • show wind direction in quick stats - Pointless because wind direction is pretty clear when looking at your environment
  • Map exit marker on the map should tell you what region it leads to - Pointless because there are so few maps that you can easily remember them
  • strafing speed should be slower than walking forward - Don´t know what you mean with "strafing"
  • putting on clothes should take time - No
  • Toolboxes are very rarely used. There is no need to have 2 different kinds of them - What doesnt harm you shouldnt bother you at last. Let the player individually choose what he wants to use and what not. Removing it just restricts the player unnecessarily in his crafting capabilities since toolboxes offer time boni to crafting processes
